VEHICLE TYPE: Please note that a particular make of car may not necessarily be available at the time of hire. In this case an alternative vehicle within the same group will be provided.
RENTALS: All rentals are the result of a direct agreement between the renter and the car contractor.
MILEAGE: The hire rates are based on unlimited mileage.
DRIVING LICENCE: All drivers when taking delivery of the car must produce a current driving licence, which they must have held for a minimum of one year. British driving licence or International driving permits are acceptable.
INSURANCE: Third party, Fire and Theft insurance and CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) are included, except there is an excess and the hirer is responsible on any claim for the first €600, for groups ABC, - €1200 groups DEIJ, - €1800 groups FGHN and €2500 for all remaining groups, including damage to the windscreen and tyres. A deposit of the above amount will be required in cash or credit card at the commencement of the hire. The above excess can be covered by a payment of €7.50 per day for groups ABC,- €10 groups DEIJ, - €14 groups FGHN and €18 for all the remaining groups.
The loss of personal items and luggage are the hirer's responsibility and are not included in the insurance.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE: PAl. is not included. However, this is an optional insurance, which is often covered by your holiday/travel insurance. Details of our travel insurance are available on request.
DEPOSIT: A full tank of petrol is provided on taking delivery of the car. A returnable deposit is payable to cover the cost of the petrol and as long as the car is returned with the same level of petrol in the tank the deposit is returned, otherwise the cost of petrol will be adjusted against the deposit.
DELIVERY/COLLECTION: No charge will be made to/from Lisbon and Oporto Airports. The car must be returned not later than the time delivery was taken. Should the car be returned later, then an extra days hire will be charged.
IMPORTANT - if you decide to terminate the hire early, there will be no refund for any unused period of the car rental.
OUT OF HOURS: Between the hours of 2400 and 0600, a charge of €15 will be made for each delivery and collection
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS: A charge of €17 will be made for each additional driver, who must be included on the contractors contract.
ROOF RACKS: Only available with Groups I and J, at €5.50 per day. Minimum charge €16.50 and maximum charge €77 per rental, and should be requested at the time of booking
BABY SEATS: €4.50 per day, maximum charge €63 per rental, and should be requested at the time of booking.
TAXES: Government Taxes, VAT and Airport Taxes are included in the weekly car hire rates.
AGE LIMITS: No person will be accepted to drive the car contractors vehicle who is under 21 years of age. Important all drivers aged between 21 and 25 will be charged an additional €3.50 per day
PETROL: The hirer is responsible for the expense of all petrol used throughout the hire.
